Default POTW 25th Dec

Merry Christmas to everyone and wishing all the WPF members a Very Happy New Year in a few days. It comes with great sarrow to hear the news of untimely death of our great Singer George Michael today. We all probably have lost many percious things during this year but now that we are at the end of it, let it be the Sadness, weakness, ailments to be the last things we all have to loss in 2016, just to start a prosperous bright New 2017 year, like never before!

As for choosing the POTW, there were many nice Night landscape images in addition to birds, scenes and many wonderful Christmas Greeting cards during last week. That is even not counting on barely missing the deadline, arrival of Majestic Mountain images of Mo.
Choosing a best wasn't easy at all. I could hardly narrow down to final two images:

Sheri's beautifully colored "Painted Lady"

And Nigel G's " Sunrise + 15mins" for the extreme extend of work and planing that has gone into creation of one rare wonderful image, that can be taken only during a few days in a year, that is if the weather permit.

Hard for me to choose one between them so I call it a tie for this week's POTW, that is if this is allowed! to announce two winner for this week.
And if technically tie is not allowed, I have to go with the "Juniority" as the final criterion for the winner, I guess that would be Sheri.

This being the last winning image/images of the year, I would like to use this opportunity and thank all for their participation and making the pages of the web site beautifully, more colorful than ever.

Well done everyone and hope to see a lot more of everyone, during 2017.

Great choices and like you I would have a hard time choosing a winner.
