Default POTW 5th March 2017

Good to see a large number of posts to the gallery this week and very wide ranging in both subject matter and geographical location. I have a short list of four; first was the Black Kite from his namesake which draws the viewer's eye irresistably to the eye of the bird. Then the Black Faced Spoonbills from Krish2187 who had several good quality entries this week. Next is dfahr1's Landmark Mountain - I wasn't keen on the PP on the other Icelandic images, they seemed very gritty somehow, even when enlarged.

My vote this week goes to Kyte and his Saxophonist, quite simply I find this image compelling, Peter Waites hit the nail on the head when he described it as, "...slight psychedelic undertones with a strong jazzy finish."

My thanks to all members who take the trouble to post.

Graham
