Default Where to buy my eqipment

Hi Guys

I have recently joined as some of you will know and i have now made a decision on buying a Canon EOS550D. When in comes to Hi-Fi stuff i always support the smaller companies and in my camera purchase i would like to do the same providing i can get a good price. I could walk in to Jessops on Saturday but can anyone reccommend somewhere in West Sussex or online. I know i have Park Cameras in Burgess Hill but are they any good and are they small?

They are good as far as I know having bought a couple of items off them with an efficient service. They are independent retailers and to the best of my knowledge only have the one outlet.

Hi Mike

Thats great. I always prefer to support the smaller businesses and the one man bands. Its a tough world out there and they need us more than ever. I guess i have a sense of community and want to support people in this difficult economic period.

You pays your money and takes your choice - if its best price my 5 mins research shows Amazon.co.uk have the 550D with 18x55 IS at £549
Jessops and John Lewis.com £579 - the latter has a longer 'free' warranty
