coincidently I bought an F70 on Friday... I'll be interested to see/hear how you get on with it, it looks like a promising compact camera.

Stick it in 'EXR' mode, Velvia film type option , (ISO 400 auto), & be 'blown away'. (that's as far as I've got); I tried other modes & was a bit dissapointed.

Still learning; any tips please pass on. I paid £200 inc 4gb card, spare battery & case from Jessops. £15.00 for a 4gb card!!! Morrisons £7.00; sandisk too!

Everything I post from now on will be openly declared as from this camera.

Good luck with it.

Al.

I've got the F70 (£173.00 Amazon in Jan 2010). I've only used it in program mode with reasonable results-it's just a walkabout camera when I'm out dog walking(can't handle a SLR and a mad labrador at the same time!). I'll give the settings suggested a try.
