Default Sandisk SD card problem

Can anyone advise please.

I have a 2GB Sandisk SD card that I recently used in conjunction with my HP C4180 all in one jobbie.

I specifically used it for the task of 'scan to SD card'.

Now I have a DCIM file plus 2 others that I cant delete. The DCIM file wont go at all, I can delete the other two, one a Jpeg, the other a PSD but then they return after deletion.

Cant format; cant scan; when I put it back in the D50 I cant format from there & it will only take about 4 shots then it wont take anymore!

Hi Al, have you tried the SanDisk software, or if you have none, their web site where they have rescue software. It looks to me, and from reading some of their web pages that the SD card has picked up the HP C4180 driver (The DCIM file) and that needs to be uninstalled before you can go further.
