Smile DXO Photolab 3

Just downloaded the upgrade photo lab 3 elite.
It took a bit of doing as it had "hidden" in the apps folder, having found it and registered it, I had a play with some old images.
It works slightly differently to the 2 elite, the new colour wheel is great and the only issue was that the way it saves is different, and to start with, the Nick collection was not "plugged in". This was sorted by closing the program and re- opening, it now works OK.
Every thing else is great and I am trying it out today to get used to the new features and way of working, I wish they would include layers though.
Charles.

Just had a look at that Charles. It looks good but for casual users like myself maybe the free stuff (Cs2 and Nik Collection plus lately N Shift) will do.

I guess the reason I keep up with the updates is because I started using DXO when it came out over 20 years ago and never felt the need to try PS or any of the myriad of RAW converters / editors.
The only other program I have is Elements 19, I got that when it looked like DXO were going under and I wanted to keep a RAW editor that was up to date.
Charles.
