Nikon announce 70-300VR AF-S IF ED f4-f5.6
Today Nikon have announced the 70-300VR AF-S IF ED f4-5.6. Rumors have been suggesting such a release for several months now.

Hi Stephen. Thats good to know as I was thinking of parting with a shed load of money for the F2.8 400mm at £1400 once I had saved for it!!
This is definitely an affordable alternative, nad just what I need for my wildlife phots which have been very dissapointing lately. Nogbad |

I will be on the waiting list if the initial reviews indicate decent optics. The inclusion of two ED elements sounds good. I bet the waiting list will be months and months. Unless you go to Grays and trade in your first born.
