the nikon i use has gone funny recently and won't accept that its 2009 and will only let me change it to the year 2006, 2007 or 2008.

It might help if you said exactly which model of Nikon you are talking about.

Hi,
My first thought was that your D50 might be due a firmware update, but this Nikon service link shows not
http://support.nikontech.com/cgi-bin...chor-DSLR-3800

It's an odd thing, not had it before. sorry i can't be of further help.....I hoping one of our Nikon gurus on here might be able to offer help.

The place I might try is nikonian's website forum, but it might take a bit of trawling through to see if anyone else had this issue?

My D50 goes up to 2099
Although it may be slightly out of date by then!
seems a wee bit odd though!
