Your favourite of 2007
A new year has begun, but which image are you most pleased with from your 2007 portfolio?
I see some excellent pictures pop up on the 'randoms from the gallery' and have a look thinking "How did I miss that one first time around?" This thread is for people to dig out their favourite picture from 2007 and show it to those who may have missed it first time around. I'll open the bidding with this one: http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...=500&ppuser=34 Was it worth dragging the tripod onto the bus and hauling it around town, (including the dinner restaurant) sure was. Show us the picture you are most proud of from last year. Duncan |

I think when someone puts a lot of effort into a photo and the result is as good or better than expected a sense of pride is realised.
Looking at my gallery for 2007, this one jumped out. I spent THREE whole days on it. I did three versions after abandoning a few using a different technique before it. When I look at it I feel the effort was worth it as I believe it is technically perfect. http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...500&ppuser=101

My favourite of 2007, was the portrait I enterd for the "Autumn" Competition as it brought back some great memories of a rare day out with my wife.

My own favourite, not because I spent time on it...it was a straight process and scan with a little selective sharpening....
More my favourite because it was totally unexpected!....I had not realised it was on the film until it was processed. A total fluke!! I also had lots of fun taking the pictures, trying to track them in flight. http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...00&ppuser=2002 hopefully now I'm a digi convert 2008 will get to some more favourites

My fave and best received by others when printed. I think infrared works really well with the subject matter. |

Looking back; I suppose the one that I'm most pleased with as it just kind of evolved from nothing was..http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...00&ppuser=1296
It was shortly after receiving a critique from Duncan on another pic regards 'perspective'..Have to admit it was a tool I hadn't used before; but; as with a lot of things, I experimented; hence this / these results which I thought best worked as a kind of portrait collage! Regards, Al.

Well I only have 6 months to choose from, as I did not start until the end of June.
Not my best received image (although I have just taken an order for a large canvas print), but it's simplicity and the fact it's not been manipulated at all, makes it one of my favourites: http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...00&ppuser=2776 |
