We have a tie break, so the poll has been extended to try and produce a winner.

If you haven't already voted, VOTE NOW to decide a winner!

Sorry if wrong place to post did not know where to post.
Would it be a good idea when there is a tie to hold a new pole with just the photos that are tied? That way people who have voted could vote again & no new votes would go to photos that did not tie for first place on the first vote. Just a thought.

For what it is worth ~ I second Arthur's idea. It seems to be the ideal solution.

Say you have two entries on 7 votes each, and a third entry on 6. If the third place entry gets two more votes in the extended poll, then that quite rightly gets the win. Using the system you suggest would deny that person the opportunity.

The suggestion is far from ideal.

Yelvertoft I see your point from the point of view of the entry with 6 votes haveing a chance to win.
I was working on the idea that when the first vote time ended, that the poll was over and was closed. If then more than one in first place "the joint winners" would be entered in a new poll.
As I said just an idea. Never said it was a good one.
