luckily it was in fantastic condition with a low shutter count.

Can you tell me if it's possible to get a shutter count for D60. The frame count DSC8325 right now does not refllect the fact that it's been "round the clock" once.

Yes Peter, just google shutter count, you will get any number of sites that will do it for you. Just upload the last image you took and it will give you the shutter count.

18577 terrific thanks Lee. I've learned something new. According to OneStop Photography beginner class cameras are approved if they can achieve at least 50,000 actuations. So a bit to go then----------------

I thought the lower end Nikon dslr cameras were rated nearer 100000 Peter.
