Ups & Downs

Up - Graham's - From Red to Purple - Nice shot, nice composition but for me I would have liked to have seen a bit more sharpness & a bit more DoF I think.

Down - Grassface's - Flowers in a Bottle - I'm not normally a fan of square compositions but I think it works really well here. Lovely soft colours, great detail & sharpness & I like the fact that the bottle is just off centre. My only suggestion would be, assuming it was shot in RAW, a bit of highlight recovery to bring back the detail in the burnt out tips of one or two petals, but overall a great shot & worthy winner.

As ever, JMHO guys

Well done, a very pleasing shot. I particularly liked the use of the coloured background complimenting the flowers
