Default POTW Sun 1st Jan

Birds on sticks, Landscapes & a cat caught my eye this week, Nigels, Durdle door was good but previous of the same view have been better. Dave Wilsons Halo was different the lighting handled well. Birds that impressed me were Sheri's Desert Wheatear & Dave 47's Bluetit (Personally I would have cloned out the twigs at the top) I also liked Hooshangs Mami (cat) for use of the narrow depth of field and composition.

This weeks winner & 1st of 2017 Is Robski's Wet Sunday afternoon. another superbly sharp bird (Goldfinch I believe) with a diffuse background. Nothing distracting from the subject.
