Paint Chip Choice
Mo.
In this one, I set my Program Mode to Bracket 0.3 and did three images of Anne with the Paint Chips. Our Choice of Color is in second row to the right from left edge and Second from the bottom. My image shown is the best of the three - "0" E C. Then I did three images without the RED PAINT COLOR CHART - Bracket 0.3. Again this is the "0" E C Choice.

A test I just did really helped me know the most accurate exposure in PROGRAM MODE. I propped a Grey Card on a table. Then I set the cam to black and white in COLOR MODE. Next I did a 0.3 BRACKET SET of Image. Then I put the GREY CARD over the cam screen - checking each of the 3 exposures. My most accurate exposure from MINUS 0.3, O and PLUS 0.3 EV exposures turned out to be "0" EV.

For anyone interested - I just tried a 3 image bracket set at MINUS 0.3 - as my main setting instead of "0" - in black and white - giving me MINUS 0.7, MINUS 0.3, and "0" Exposure Correction Images. It worked dead on for accuracy. I presume this could also be done on the PLUS SIDE AS WELL.
If one is willing to spend a couple of minutes doing this, one's image accuracy can be improved quite highly in some cases.

Here are couple of examples of black and white and color images as described above. I started with the b and w bracketed image and chose E C '0'
Then I did my color bracketed image and chose E C "0" for this too.

Mo;
I have just worked out the number of combination of choices of exposures at 144 to 168 - depending on the number of EC (MINUS and PLUS SIDES) and Manual ISO Settings - plus all the AUTO ISO settings that are in between the Manual EC . My ISO's go from 80 to 3200 - at 3 images per setting on PLUS and MINUS side - depending on the cam. I can set any EC number between "0" and MINUS or PLUS "1" as my main number and get 3 bracketed images for each setting - making 24 choices - plus all the MANUAL and AUTO ISO'S as well with each E C setting. That gives a good selection of exposures to choose.

An interesting thing I just found. I placed a MAGNIFYING LUPE on my cam screen and set my EC to MINUS 0.3, "0" and PLUS 0.3. In each of these settings I could see how the R G B dots - making up the screen - opened up, stayed even, and compressed together in brightness and clarity. For my first study, I found it most interesting, and will do far more study of the idea to help gain accurate studies.

This morn at our Local Market, I first did a 3 image BRACKET at MINUS 0.3, 0 AND PLUS 0.3 E V of my COLOR WHEEL. My illustration is the "0" EV image.
Then I did the 3 image BRACKET of the subject. My illustration is the "0" E V image as well.
