Is Adobe trying to rip us off?

I said I would never buy anything from Adobe again, but unfortunately I couldn't resist upgrading to Lightroom 6.

I was also thinking this at the time, but it dooes look as though this could be the last upgrade for perpetual owners of Lightroom. However the wording on the Adobe site is quite ambiguous, so it's difficult to know what their intentions for the future are.

Some time ago I said I thought I was being ripped off. Now I have changed my mind. Since Apple ditched Aperture, I have switched to the Adobe Photographic package of Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC for £8.57 per month and I am finding it perfect for me. I have transferredall my photos, ( over 25,000) from Aperture to Lightroom. This is my organiser now, and with Photoshop CC I can do all the alterations I want. It takes some getting use to but there are plenty of training videos available on the net especially from Adobe itself.

For me it's RawTherepee (free download) for RAW conversion and Elements 11 for fine tuning with layers. I like to organise my own files, so don't really need Lightroom.
