POTW 20 April 14
Wet Approach by Nigel G gets my vote. There were two posted in the series and this one gets the vote due to the fact that it was probably a little harder to get. The feeding frenzy at the feeding station has an element of luck really with birds fighting for scraps and using a high burst rate on a pre-focussed point its almost impossible to miss the fight for scraps. This one has great composition, superb sharpness on the face and of course the water streaming form the bird as its makes its approach finishes it off for me. My one minor criticism are the two tags on the wings which would be easy to lose athough this does not detract from a superb capture.
