POTW 13th April
Well I've been away for 3 weeks so tonight's viewing was first sight of all this weeks images.
John&me's cherry blossom and Dfahr's image of the Grand Canyon both caught my eye but my selection goes to Gidders for his "Strawberry Splash" - which I see also deservedly won the Wet Wet Wet competition.

It certainly is an excellent image, good choice.

Great shot Clive, how many attempts before the strawberries & splash were perfect in the shot? I guess a sequence of three in a frame might work well either three different fruits or at different points in the 'splash'

Firstly congrats on the shot! It is excellent!
Second. I think my orange flower shot may have been moved to the 'photo of the week' gallery by mistake instead of this shot?!? |

Thanks Nigel - my first POTW
Ade - about 20 which which not as many as I thought it might take when I embarked on the idea. I'd been scouring the local charity shops for a second hand fish tank which would have had more room for more/larger fruit but couldn't find one. I did try kiwis but they always seemed to hit the water with the cut green side away from the camera, and slices of lemon but they made the water cloudy very quickly. For more info on how it was done have a look at <<<this post>>> |
