Canon 200-400 f/4 IS lens
Canon said a couple of years go they were going to build a 200-400mm lens plus built-in 1.4 times convertor. At the time I decided this would be the lens for me. So have been putting my pennies away each month ready for the big day when I could buy it.
Well the big day has arrived and according to the reviews it's one outstanding lens. The problem is I should have been saving multiples of £100s per month instead of pennies. At £12,000 I think I'll give it a miss. Anyone else interested in buying one? http://www.dpreview.com/news/2013/06...n-teleconverte Harry |

I was going to get 2 but fortunately it doesn't come in a four thirds mount Guess its meant for those pros who don't pay for their own gear.

Far too expensive for me. Hoping for a new 100-400 at a more affordable price though I expect when it is announced it will still be at a pretty eye watering price like around 2K.

I am not ready yet to cheat on my beautiful 100-400. She is fair with the never fading sexy lip stick, always sharp, fast and slim. Not like this fat thingy. So add me too to the "Miss" list.
