Exclamation Help?

Okay, so.
I got a Sony HC9E handycam, and it's great!
Butwhen i try to import pictures onto my computer they come out all corrupt!
Even though they are fine on the camcorders screen itself.

I do everything correctly.

Connect the camera through USB
Installed the given software for the camera
Used that software to import the file

And they come out Corrupt!

Can anybody please tell me what the problem is?

Aidan,

What software are you trying to use to view the pictures?
What format are you taking the pictures in on the camera?
Can you drag and drop the image files from the camera onto your hard drive on the PC?
EXACTLY what are you doing when you are having problems? Please describe in detail.
