Wonder how successful it is gonna be...
I personally would liked to see a D55 at the same price rage, instead of 40.

Can someone please explain to me why there is so much media hype over this camera? What is so significant about it? Looks like a cut down D50 to me. At the moment, you can get a D50 for less cash than a D40, another reason I don't understand the huge interest this lower spec model has generated.

Confused.
