Default POTW 4 Jan 2015

Well I get first choice to start the New Year and it was quite a challenge. There were some wonderful shots from the Lake District, strong B&W entries, great colour from Spurn and "Scarlett at Christmas" is adorable but my choice for POTW is:

The Cruel Sea by Loose Canon.
A extremely striking image depicting the power of nature and caught in a moment of light breaking under the storm.

Yes would have been my choice as well. I saw the reworked version and thought that slightly better with the 2 observations sorted. I think this is a smashing shot and very lucky to be in right place at right time - well done
